We started Evergreen after a year of prayer.
Before we ever picked up a hammer under the Evergreen name, we spent a year talking it through with family, with each other, and asking whether the roofing business in our area needed another company, or a better one.
We decided to start with one rule: treat every customer like a neighbor. That meant doing what we said we'd do, on the day we said we'd do it, for the price we'd quoted. It also meant telling people when a roof didn't actually need work, something a lot of roofers won't do.
A few years later we're consistently a top residential roofer in Alabama, and we still answer the phone ourselves. The rest of the work (the gutters, the siding, the commercial jobs) grew because customers asked us to handle it. So we did.
